Get ready for an epic weekend in the shadow of Mt. Baker! ❄️ Join us at Chair 9 for Mt. Baker Split Fest, a celebration of splitboarding, backcountry culture, and the incredible mountain community that makes Baker legendary.
Whether you’re a seasoned splitboarder or just curious about getting into the backcountry, Split Fest is the perfect place to connect with fellow riders, check out the latest gear, and swap stories from the skin track. Stop by to meet local riders, industry reps, and mountain enthusiasts who share a passion for powder and adventure.
Warm up with great food, cold drinks, and the lively atmosphere Chair 9 is known for. It’s the ideal spot to kick back after a day in the mountains, talk lines, plan tomorrow’s tour, and celebrate everything that makes the Mt. Baker backcountry scene so special.
Glacier Prom: Back to the 90’s!

Cascade Mobile Music is excited to announce the return of Glacier Prom on Thursday, March 19th at Chair 9. This year’s theme is back to the 90’s/late 80’s. $10 entry at the door includes a slap bracelet, prom photos via Mild West photography, crowning of prom royalty and mega dance party via Cascade Mobile Music. Official prom poster on the way via Tawny Davis. This is a 21+ event. This event does take me a lot of work, anyone that would be willing to help me decorate the day of would be much appreciated and would get you free entry into prom. Whether you want to bring a date or just gather some friends, you’re not going to want to miss this one, so mark your calendars for Thursday, March 19th, Glacier Prom 2026!!!!
